LJMU premieres short films on business start-up
LJMU has commissioned It's About Video
to produce a series of short films highlighting the important points to consider when starting and running a business. We recently hosted a screening to thank everyone who took part and to give the films their first airing. We would like to thank Silverberg Opticians, Trendy Vend, Empire Business Solutions, Expert Language Solutions, Rethinkthings, Emeritus Consultants, Another Media, Glow New Media and Dave McTague for their time and contribution. The films will soon be available on our website and Facebook group and will also be used to support teaching in enterprise at LJMU.

Purple Revolver was established in Liverpool in 2007 and is an online news, picture and video publication featuring heavily on the music and creative industries. The company behind Purple Revolver also has an events and creative division, offering services in online marketing, video and event production. They are holding an exclusive screening of the White Stripes film Under Great White Northern Lights at Parr Street's Studio 2 on Wednesday, April 28. Doors 7.30pm, tickets £3.

The programme helps students to learn that 'enterprise' is a life skill that they can apply throughout their careers. Young Enterprise needs business mentors to work with their young people.
